Marine Engineering Studies

Marine Electrical Engineering (Electro-Technical Officer) study program:

This program is accredited by Jordan Maritime Commission (JMC) and has been designed in compliance with the STCW 78 Convention as amended in Manila, Sec. A. III/6 and the IMO Model course 7.08. It allows the trainee to develop knowledge, skills and proficiency in key aspects of Marine Electrical Engineer and safety so as function as a Marine Electrical Engineer (Electro-Technical Officer) on seagoing vessels.

Students who complete the requirements of Marine Electrical Engineering basic studies program should attend a two weeks program on Safety familiarization at the Academy before attending sea guided training on board vessels. The course will include the STCW Basic Safety Short Training Courses.
